Renting a car in Austria – Tips and advices

- You need a valid driving license from a EEA country to drive in Austria (in case you’re UE citizen), instead, you’ll need to International Driving Permit (IDP). For the Australian citizens, it is required the IDP along with the Australian license.

- You must be 18 years old to be able to drive in Austria.

- It is mandatory to hire a third-party insurance.
